I’m Rob Shainess.
Minnesota is my adopted home. I grew up in Connecticut and attended college in upstate New York. After college, I moved out here to attend law school at the University of Minnesota. While in law school, I met my fantastic wife, Shelly. She is a Minnesota native. We now enjoy living in Minnetonka with our daughter.
After graduating from law school, I joined one of Minnesota’s largest law firms. After seven years there, I decided that it was time to fulfill my longtime dream of founding a firm focused on the things that are most important to Minnesota families and business owners. That’s why I founded Capstone Law, LLC, a law firm with a narrow but important focus: Protecting what you value most.
I am a trial lawyer focused on three areas of practice:
- Real estate disputes
- Business litigation
- Personal injury
I have chosen to practice in these areas because they touch on our shared core values: Our property, our livelihoods, and our families. These are the things that we value most. And these are the things that I passionately protect.
